Scholarship platform for students

The new platform for students helps them to find funding for their studies:
It is the largest platform of its kind in Europe, with over 12,000 scholarships, grants and prizes worth a total of 27 billion euros. 600 of these funding opportunities are specifically aimed at Austrian students. The platform was developed in collaboration with the non-profit Initiative for Transparent Student Funding and the European Commission. The European Funding Guide uses an intelligent matching algorithm that only shows students the scholarships, grants and prizes that really fit their individual profile. The 12,000 funding opportunities cover a wide range of options, from financing living costs, to financial support for stays abroad and grants for tuition fees, to funding for dissertations.

In Austria, most students still believe that scholarships are only for the highly talented and very needy. In fact, there are over 600 funding programmes and more than 25 selection criteria for Austria alone, depending on the respective scholarship. There are so many funding programmes that many existing scholarship offers are insufficiently taken advantage of because there are not enough applications.
